Infrastructure behind charging

The charger is the endpoint of a wider power system

Reliable charging starts with connection capacity analysis, distribution, protection, cable routes and properly engineered switchboards.

Brodar connects these elements with equipment installation, testing and commissioning, covering the energy path from grid connection to vehicle.

Application areas

Infrastructure matched to site operations

Each segment has different load profiles, space constraints and operational priorities.

CPO-01

CPO hubs

Public and semi-public multi-charger locations requiring reliable, scalable distribution.

  • Connection capacity
  • Distribution and protection
  • Expansion readiness
BUS-02

Bus depots

Systems aligned with timetables, charging windows and depot space constraints.

  • Overnight and opportunity charging
  • Distributed architecture
  • Operational reliability
PORT-03

Ports and marinas

Robust infrastructure for vehicles, working machinery and port equipment.

  • Demanding environments
  • Multiple load types
  • Modular expansion
FLEET-04

Commercial fleets

Charging for service and delivery vehicles with managed site loads.

  • Capacity planning
  • Cable routes
  • Maintenance and support
TRUCK-05

Trucks and megawatt charging

Heavy-duty charging on corridors and in logistics — Mega Satellite (MCS) up to 1.2 MW.

  • MCS up to 1.2 MW / 1500 A
  • Overnight, destination and on-the-move
  • Scalable distributed architecture
Kempower — ovlašteni distributer
Authorised distributor

Kempower — modular DC charging infrastructure at professional level

Elektroinženjering Brodar is the authorised distributor of Kempower solutions for the Croatian market. Kempower is a Finnish company specialising in DC charging systems for electric vehicles — from passenger cars to buses, trucks and port machinery. We engineer, supply, commission and support complete Kempower installations. We are responsible for the power infrastructure, switchboards, cable routes and integration into the local distribution system.

  • 01 Kempower Satellite — compact satellite chargers up to 400 kW (1–2 plugs; multiple satellites share one Power Unit)
  • 02 Kempower Power Unit — modular power cabinet up to 600 kW per unit, up to 1200 kW in MORE Power configuration (feeds up to 8 outlets)
  • 03 Kempower Station Charger — all-in-one DC chargers 50–400 kW for smaller CPO sites and fleets
  • 04 Kempower Mega Satellite (MCS) — megawatt charging for heavy-duty vehicles up to 1.2 MW and 1500 A
  • 05 Dynamic Load Management (DLM) — automatic distribution of available power between active chargers
  • 06 Compatible with CCS2 and CHAdeMO; optionally Type 2 AC, CCS1 and MCS for heavy-duty vehicles
  • 07 ChargEye — Kempower's cloud platform for charging management, billing and OCPP 1.6J / 2.0.1 plus ISO 15118 integration
  • 08 Bus depot solutions: overnight and opportunity charging, pantograph charging, distributed architecture
  • 09 Port and marina solutions: robust enclosures for demanding outdoor conditions, galvanic isolation, CCS and MCS support
  • 10 Scalability without replacing the power unit — add satellites as demand grows
Delivery process

Nine steps from site to operational system

Technical preparation and coordination are as important as charger installation.

  1. 01

    Site analysis

Space, traffic flows, equipment positions and future development.

  2. 02

    Connection capacity

Available capacity and expected load profile.

  3. 03

    Project coordination

Alignment of investor, designer, CPO and equipment supplier.

  4. 04

    Switchboard manufacturing

Distribution, protection, metering and power management.

  5. 05

    Cable routes

Energy and communication route preparation and installation.

  6. 06

    Equipment installation

Positioning, connection and charging system integration.

  7. 07

    Testing

Electrical and functional verification of the delivered system.

  8. 08

    Commissioning

Final integration and on-site operation checks.

  9. 09

    Maintenance

Support for stable, long-term infrastructure operation.
